Little Vintage Photography has found its new home in one of The Sheds at our Creative Campus, bringing a vibrant hub for film photography and darkroom education to the Baltic Creative community.
Offering a variety of workshops, unique experiences, and a membership-based darkroom, it’s the ideal space for anyone eager to reconnect with the art of analogue photography.
Little Vintage Photography currently has an exhibition featured in The Shed, running until the end of January. Pop over to view and drop by 92 Degrees Cafe for a bite to eat and a hot drink too.
Current Exhibition in The Shed
The current exhibition in The Shed is a combination of two collective showings from analogue photographers around the world. Rachel Brewster-Wright of Little Vintage Photography brought both exhibitions together. She runs analogue photography and darkroom workshops from Unit K at the Baltic Creative Campus on Jamaica Street. She also leads the Liverpool Darkroom and hosts the new Baltic Photo Club.
In 2022, Baltic Creative partnered with Little Vintage Photography to commission the ‘Love Liverpool Pride’ exhibition. The aim was to highlight photographs taken by and of the LGBTQIA+ community using analogue photographic methods.
The second part, features pieces from the TAKE/MAKE/CREATE festival produced by analogue photographers around the world who make up the Little Vintage Photography community, whether they’ve attended a workshop or taken up a Darkroom Membership.
It’s an eclectic mix of image, style, genre and process, showing a wide range of black & white prints, created using heritage craft processes, taken on film and/or printed by hand in the darkroom.
