We’re delighted to welcome commercial photographer Peter Drought to his new shed unit at Baltic Creative’s Creative Campus. Peter isn’t new to our community – he’s been with us for around 18 months, starting out with a desk space at Northern Lights – but this move marks an exciting new chapter for his business, giving him a dedicated studio for portrait and still life photography.
Peter’s photography career began in 2008, specialising in architectural and interiors photography. Over time, his work expanded to include corporate portraits, personal branding, still life and product photography. His clients range from magazines, architects and estate agents to press and public sector organisations.

What sets Peter’s work apart is his technical mastery – using lighting and specialist equipment to capture subjects with a unique edge that catches the eye. He’s particularly passionate about using these techniques to bring out the best in buildings, products and people.
After initially using his Northern Lights space as a base for image processing and other projects, Peter found himself drawn to the creative atmosphere and connections within the Baltic Creative community. Now, in his new Creative Campus unit, he’ll be able to create and capture with even more focus, especially for portrait and still life commissions.
Peter’s always happy to meet new people – especially over a coffee – so whether you have a photography project in mind or just want to drop by for a chat, he’d love to hear from you.
