We’re pleased to welcome to The Shed, UN/COMPLICATED, a new exhibition created by four of the artists from the Home from Home mentoring scheme.

Home from Home is a Tate Liverpool engagement programme for migrants newly arrived in the city. Using Tate’s national collection of art as a source for exchange, skills development and to foster new connections, Home from Home aims to support migrants establish themselves in the city region.  

The programme includes a mentoring scheme, to support the professional development of some of the participants who are practising artists.  

In July 2021 (A)void Art Collective www.avoidhaha.uk invited the artists to join their exhibition at Bridewell Studios. For the Shed exhibition, in the spirit of exchange, Home from Home artists invited two local artists to collaborate with them.
