A new tech hub

Baltic Creative acquired 44 Simpson Street in 2017 in order to deliver a new tech hub. Digital House finally launched in April 2019, after spending four years as a labour of love for Baltic Creative, its staff and its Board. Our £3m investment has delivered 17 spaces specifically designed for Digital and Tech companies. We’ve carefully restored both sides of the building which is now fully let, bringing the structure back to life and contributing to this part of Baltic Triangle’s further expansion. This project has received £768,512 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

Everyone at Baltic Creative has been instrumental in helping us find our feet in Liverpool. We moved into our initial space a year ago, and when we outgrew that space the team were amazing with their guidance, help and flexibility in finding us a new, bigger office. I knock on their door what can only be described as an annoying amount, but I’m always greeted by a smiling, helpful face. We’re very much settled in Liverpool now with the team growing more and more, and I’m not sure that would have been the case without the help of the Baltic Creative team.
