Team BC has had some exciting changes with the addition of two new Kickstart roles and the growth of two existing staff members into newly created positions.

Baltic Creative Management Team. Top, L-R: Milan, Mark and Sian. Bottom, L-R: Chris, Becky, Alex and Jeff

Earlier this year, two of our long-standing team members, Alex Christey-Kelly and Becky Seaman stepped in to share responsibilities formerly managed by events & marketing officer, Alison James. We’re pleased to say their roles have now been formally confirmed and titles changed to reflect their additional responsibilities.

Alex is our new Community & Partnerships Officer, responsible for partnerships, events and support for the creative community. Alex has worked with us for almost 3 years as the operations officer for Northern Lights. In that time she has provided valuable support to the community and worked on a number of projects to improve sustainability across the site, work which will continue in her new role.

Becky is our new Communications & Administration Officer, responsible for marketing, communications and general administration. Becky has spent over two years as our administration officer, supporting the management team, Board and tenant community. She will now be extending that support to the world of marketing, utilising her creative skills to produce content for Baltic Creative’s social media channels, newsletters and blog posts.

Alongside these two roles, we’d like to welcome Milan and Sian to our team who are joining us as part of the government’s Kickstart scheme. They will be with us for 6-months, working on a part-time basis to support the full-time staff members.

Milan is our new Communications Assistant and will support Becky and Alex to produce content, maintain accurate data, and provide general administrative and event support.

Sian is our new Property Assistant and will work with facilities officer, Jeff Mcglinchey to maintain the buildings and keep our workspaces safe.

We wish Alex, Becky, Sian and Milan best of luck in their new roles! This is an exciting time for Team BC and we can’t wait to see what the next year holds.
