We’re excited to share some exciting news from our tenant Baltic Ventures, who have this week announced their Accelerator 2025 cohort. 

This year’s ten teams include founders working in proptech, healthtech, edtech, fintech, climate tech, fashion tech and more – all tackling some of today’s most pressing challenges with creativity and determination.

Meet the 2025 Cohort

The founders and companies taking part are:

  • Aposto by Cathy Long – smarter staffing & safety for live events
  • Loom by Daisy Harvey – AI-powered fashion upcycling
  • Plato by Dragos P. & Nikita Dumitriuc – AI study assistant for university students
  • School SCR by Jay Ashcroft & Ryan Smith – automating safeguarding compliance for schools

What’s in Store

Over the next five months, these founders will take part in an intensive programme designed to accelerate their growth and open doors to new opportunities. The Accelerator includes:

  • Weekly Masterclasses led by industry experts
  • One-to-one coaching and mentoring
  • A trip to Slush in Helsinki, one of the world’s leading startup events
  • Exclusive networking opportunities here in Liverpool
  • Time to refine their business models and pitches
  • A chance to showcase their work on a global stage

The programme is supported by a £4.1m grant from Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, helping founders scale their businesses and connect with the networks and resources they need to succeed.
