Exciting news: Baltic Creative residents Helta Skelta are launching their first photographic exhibition.  ‘The Diamond’ residency is now in place at 92 degrees in Creative Campus until the end of July and features work taken from the book ‘The Diamond’ featuring a collection of photographic portraits and captured moments.

The project documents eighteen months inside The Diamond in Sutton-upon-Ashton, capturing the venue’s patrons as they kept each other shining through upheaval.

“Diamonds and coal share the same element. The difference is pressure, time, and the bonds that form in between.”

As well as the exhibition at 92 degrees, there will also be a full exhibition at Helta Skelta studios running from Friday 17th July to Sunday 19th July with dozens of never before seen images not featured in the book. Baltic Creative members will have the opportunity to have a sneaky peek of the full exhibition on Friday 17th July.

The Diamond book will also be available to purchase at £30 (90 pages) and along with unseen images picked from over 200 portraits via the studio.
