We are opening a new exhibition space at Northern Lights! This unique showcase kicks off a regular programme of events to support the local artist community.
Northern Lights is an artist-led hub in Cain’s Brewery Village, containing affordable artist studios, gallery spaces, workshops, and rehearsal space. This new exhibition space will redefine the traditional gallery experience by transforming the industrial backdrop of this former canning warehouse into a canvas for artists to express their creativity. Unlike conventional galleries with pristine white walls, Northern Lights provides a distinctive setting that adds an extra layer of intrigue to the exhibited works.
The inaugural exhibition, featuring works from Hub Studios, promises to captivate audiences with a diverse range of artistic expressions. Kim Harley-Griffiths, Freida McKitrick and Matthew Storrow from Hub (pictured below) will be exhibiting their artwork and launching a new collection of ceramics, produced after studying under fellow Northern Lights resident, Simon Shaw.

Date: Thursday, 26th October
