Baltic Creative CIC is seeking to appoint an Assets Officer to work within its Head Office at the Baltic Creative Campus.

Baltic Creative was established in 2009, with the ambition to support the growth of Creative & Digital industries in Liverpool, through the development of property. Through a sector-led, community ownership model we now manage 120,000 sq./ft of space, supporting 180 companies and 650 jobs. We have been the catalyst for the regeneration and establishment of the Baltic Triangle area; and the place for the C&D sector in Liverpool to prosper.

In 2020 we changed our Memorandum & Articles, broadening our concept and remit to cover the Liverpool City Region’s six boroughs. Our ambition is to own and manage 500,000 sq./ft across the region by 2026 supporting 600 companies and 3,000 jobs.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and customer-focussed person. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of a range of day-to-day property activities, which include the following:

  • Lease administration and renewals
  • Utilities management
  • Business rates and annual valuations schedules
  • Site security and CCTV
  • Health & Safety including fire safety
  • The delivery of our Net Zero 2040 sustainability strategy
  • Access control systems
  • Managing repairs and maintenance by procuring contractors from inception to completion

The role will also involve procurement of Planned Programmed Maintenance schedules and overseeing their implementation in-line with budgets and Life Cycle Analysis surveys.

This is a challenging position requiring a technically competent person who has relevant experience of commercial property management, is commercially aware, proactive and tenant-focused. The Assets Officer (AO) will be responsible for the operational delivery of reactive repair works, managing repairs logs, developing stock condition / PPM information, financial reporting and contract administration.

This is a permanent role which will include a 6 month probationary period.
