About this event

Treats, sweets, cakes, thank you’s, a pat on the back, Let’s face it, it doesn’t take much to bring the feel-good factor to your team and colleagues and those gestures go a long way. However, it’s important to have practical and supportive measures in place to ensure that the wellbeing of your staff and colleagues is looked after. It can take a little bit more time and a little more effort to make it happen but by finding the right methods, you can create and positive environment, a sense of wellbeing and true sense of purpose.

If you want the cold hard facts, the average time an employee is absent from work when they’re suffering from stress or mental unrest is 29 days a year – Presenteeism (so they’re physically in work but their mind is elsewhere) is FOUR TIMES more common than this. Can your business really afford this? And are there methods you can put place as individuals or leaders that can help to alleviate staff stress and absences?

In this session, we’ll look at things from a human perspective (which is much more the TLC way) and we’ll explore what changes you can bring to your organisation (both individually and as management) and what you can do to make sure your teams’ wellbeing is priority number one.

This session is an hour long and will be delivered by Lee Fishwick (Director of Training and Personal Development at TLC) who’s a teacher and a trainer who specialises in stress, anxiety and the power of positive psychology and mindset

About this event series

Baltic Creative CIC has partnered with local social enterprise Transform Lives Company (TLC) to bring you a new four-part health and wellbeing event series. The series provides practical support and inspiration to individuals and business owners so that they can go forth and explore the many benefits of implementing wellbeing practices into their daily lives.

Each event is free of charge and is open to everyone – whether you’re a freelancer, sole trader, staff member, businesses owner, student or currently out of work. Each session is an hour long and will take place online via Zoom (with your camera on or off – whatever makes you most comfortable)
