Summary:
Our thriving Liverpool-based company is seeking an experienced and passionate Ecommerce Web Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Ecommerce Web Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining our online stores, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience that drives sales. Your expertise in visual design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) will be instrumental in crafting visually appealing and user-friendly ecommerce platforms that align with the brand identities of our clients and resonate with their target audiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand business objectives and user needs
Conceptualise and design high-impact ecommerce websites and landing pages tailored to the UK market
Translate wireframes and mockups into visually appealing and functional designs
Implement and maintain consistent branding across all ecommerce platforms
Optimise designs for various devices and screen sizes, ensuring a responsive and mobile-friendly experience
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience
Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce design trends and best practices in the UK
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of designs into the ecommerce platform
Qualifications:
Portfolio of previous work
Minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce web design for UK-based companies
Proven expertise in visual design, UI, and UX principles
Proficiency in design software such as Sketch or Figma,
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be beneficial
Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a UK-based environment
Passion for ecommerce and a keen eye for detail
