“Every year I say the process was our most competitive yet, but 2026 genuinely felt different. We had more applications than we’ve ever received, and the standard across the board was higher than anything we’ve seen before.“Our selection process gets harder every year and what made it difficult was the quality, not the quantity, which is a good problem to have. We’ve chosen to back eight excellent founding teams who understand their markets deeply and are ready to move and scale. Our job now is to make sure they don’t have to figure out the hard stuff alone.”
