Basecamp X Share Your Lunch Bake Off

After the resounding success of our Easter event, the Basecamp Bake Off is back...and this time they want to see everyone getting involved.

By 'involved' they mean either baking/ creating a sweet treat to share (and be in the running to win one of three prizes)...or pop down to enjoy a slice or three of cake after providing a small donation.

This time the Basecamp Bake Off will be supporting Can Cook's #ShareYourLunch campaign...

60,000 people in Merseyside went hungry last year. This includes 25,000 children.

The Share Your Lunch campaign, led by Can Cook, will provide good, fresh food to people across Merseyside who are experiencing food poverty, providing essential food for those who are unable to access it themselves. The campaign will start with feeding children through the Summer Holidays - a dangerous time for children whose only daily meal is often at school.

The Share Your Lunch Bake-Off will raise funds and awareness, enabling Can Cook to provide fresh meals for children through the Summer Holidays; a difficult time for families whose children would usually receive a school meal, often finding themselves unable to provide the extra food for their children.

Getting involved is easy!

Bake or create a cake, biscuit, bread or any type of sweet treat for the bake off...and you might win a prize and medal!

To take part, send us an email (Ant or Helen) just so we know numbers, grab your pinny and get creating (check out the photos attached from Easter for inspiration).

Or alternatively, simply donate on the day and pick from the array of sweet treats on offer!

Help us to fund raise and feed children across the City Region this Summer.
